Effective August 11, 2026
Terms of Use
These Terms govern use of KidScreen. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
Parent-only account and responsibility
A KidScreen account is for an adult who is legally able to agree to these Terms. It is not for a child to create or manage. The parent is responsible for selecting and reviewing every video, deciding what is suitable for each child, supervising use, protecting parent and child credentials and sessions, and configuring device and operating-system restrictions.
KidScreen is a convenience for organizing links. It is not childcare, a safety service, an emergency service, or a substitute for parental supervision or device-level parental controls.
The service and YouTube
KidScreen provides a private shelf of parent-selected YouTube videos. KidScreen does not host, upload, edit, endorse, or control YouTube videos, creators, advertisements, links, recommendations, availability, accessibility, or other third-party content. The official YouTube player may display any of those elements.
YouTube can change, restrict, remove, or stop embedding a video at any time. Use of YouTube through KidScreen is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
Your submissions and conduct
You must have the right or permission to submit links, names, and any other information you add. You must not use KidScreen unlawfully, harm another person, bypass access controls, interfere with security or operation, probe the service, use or disclose another family's credentials or session, or help anyone else do so.
Availability and changes
KidScreen is a free, evolving service. Features, limits, integrations, and these Terms may change. KidScreen may suspend or end access when reasonably necessary for security, misuse, maintenance, legal reasons, or discontinuation. No uptime, backup, support, or continued-availability commitment is made. Do not rely on KidScreen as the sole copy of information or the sole way to control a child's device.
Disclaimer of warranties
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, KIDSCREEN IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, SAFETY, OR SUITABILITY OF ANY VIDEO OR OTHER CONTENT. KIDSCREEN DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE, A CREDENTIAL, A CHILD SESSION, A FILTER, OR A DEVICE SETTING WILL PREVENT A CHILD FROM REACHING UNAPPROVED CONTENT.
Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, KIDSCREEN WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, DEVICE ACCESS, OR USE, ARISING FROM KIDSCREEN, YOUTUBE, THIRD-PARTY CONTENT OR CONDUCT, CREDENTIALS, CHILD SESSIONS, OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, KIDSCREEN'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR KIDSCREEN DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR USD 10. Where applicable law does not allow a particular exclusion or limit, it applies only to the maximum extent that law permits. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Indemnity
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold KidScreen harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the service, submitted information, selected content, or disclosure of credentials or a child session.
Termination, changes, and contact
You may stop using KidScreen at any time. A signed-in parent can send a deletion request or question through the feedback form in the parent dashboard. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
